LXR/Nevils Complex (1893)

Continuing down N Street from the 1789 is the remainder of the East Campus quadrangle. The buildings on this block were cobbled together from the old Georgetown Hospital, whose four wings (Kober, Jung, Nordhoff, and Lisner) were built beginning in 1893 and renamed as the Nevils Building in 1947. To the east, the three dormitories of the hospital (including Loyola, above) were renovated in the 1990's and are now known as the "LXR" buildings.
